Renske Zuurveen MSc LLM (1987) works as a researcher at the Cybersafety Research Group since 2013. In 2009 she finished her Master's degree with a specialization in Psychology and Law at Maastricht University. Subsequently, she completed a Master's degree in Criminal Law and Criminology at the University of Groningen. Renske has carried out research into online identity fraud at the Public Prosecution Service. For the Cybersafety Research Group she contributed to the Youth & Cyber Safety project and also carried out research into victims of cybercrime among SMEs and one-man businesses.
Recently she wrote handbooks for the police regarding the use of digital evidence. In addition to her work as a researcher, Renske is a teacher at the Thorbecke Academy. Now she conducts research into the use of digital forensic evidence in the criminal justice system.
